The main aim of this service is to offer research students one on one extra lessons or tutorials with the aim of introducing the fundamentals that students may not be aware of. This service is essential for students who are preparing for exams. You will get a detailed outline of aspects of research to help you get the general idea of what an examiner will expect of you. In this way, you can get an in depth understanding before going to the books and can ask as many questions as you want.
During the sessions the student also gets to do some question papers to prepare for exams as well as to infuse the facts they have just learned about research. Study groups are also assisted in the same way as lone students.Time allocation for these one-on-one sessions are usually two hours. However, if the student feels that they would like to carry on, another session can be arranged.
